Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai has become engaged to actor Abhishek Bachchan. The couple's romantic attachment became a topic for hot debate after they were seen together at a Hindu temple in November. Mumbai's attractions for the romantically-inclined visitor include the lovely early 18th century tomb of Sufi saint Hazrath Haji Ali, and the majestic Gateway to India, built in 1927 to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary.

The Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) in association with the Ministry of Tourism Government of India, Government of Maharashtra, Development Commissioner for Handlooms, Commissioner Development and the Mumbai festival have organised a 12 days festival, titled, Maharashtra Maza at the Bandra Reclamation grounds that began yesterday and will continue until Republic Day. The cultural extravaganza includes folk music, conventional dances and gastronomic delights not only from Maharashtra but from all over India. Traditional artisans, craftsmen and exhibitors will also get a chance to showcase their products at the event.

The biggest love story of Indian Cinema, is officially announced.Bolly wood Super star, Abhishek Bachan , son of the Big B, got engaged with former Miss World and Bollywood super star, Aishwarya Rai on sunday the 14 th at a quiet ceremony in Bachan's residence in Juhu, Mumbai. On Sunday evening,one of the most auspicious days in the Hindu calendar,they were engaged after a small ceremony in which Bachchan reportedly placed a diamond ring on the actress' finger. "No date for marriage has been fixed yet," the senior Bachchan told reporters. Indian television channels, however, said the marriage could take place as early as next month. Abhishek is celebrating his 31 st birthday on February 5 th, while Ash is 33. They both have acted in more than 40 movies, and the latest is "GURU", directed by the legendary, Mani Rathnam in which both of them play the lead charecters.

With the expansion of General Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, the re-entry of FIAT and the new project of Volkswagen in the vicinity of Pune, the Company is proceeding with creating a third facility in the Pune belt to handle the increasing requirements of these OEMs.
