Woman lawyer to defend Kasab

The lone terrorist of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, Ajmal Amir Kasab has finally got a lawyer to defend his case.
A 40 year old woman lawyer Anjali Waghmare with the Maharashtra Service Legal Authority has come forward to defend the case after she was asked by the special court to take up the case.
Kasab's trial is expected to begin from April in a special court room at Arthur Road Jail premises. --MP

After Mayawati, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Sharad Pawar is now eyeing the Prime Minister's post and has expressed it openely. "There is a feeling in Maharastra that states like Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat and Karnataka have got opportunity, so Maharastra should get an oppurtunity as well," said Pawar hinting on his possibility to become the PM. Meanwhile reacting to Pawar's statement, Congress has reiterated that there was no vacancy for the post of the Prime Minister.
--MP Finnair temporarly stops Mumbai flights

With the global economic meltdown in its peak, the Finnish airliner Finnair has announced that it would temperorly suspend its flights to Mumbai.
Finnair which now operates 4 times a week to Mumbai from Helsinki airport will be dropped from May to mid October during the summer period.
The company has cited unfavourable economic conditions as the reason for this. However its Helsinki-Delhi flights will continue to operate.

Jet airways daily flight on Kwt-Mum

Private Airliner Jet Airways has announced a daily flight service to be operated between Kuwait and Mumbai sector.
The new flight will be introduced from March 29th to help with the increasing customer demands.
The new daily flight scheduled, 9W 572 will depart from Mumbai at 7pm and would arrive Kuwait at 8.30 pm. Flight 9W 571 will leave Kuwait at 9.30pm and will reach Mumbai at 4 am.

Sachin's wax statue at Tussauds

Indian ace cricketer Sachin Tendulakar too would join the likes of many other Indian personalities who have adorned the wax museum of Madame Tussauds Museum in London.
Sachin's figure spotted in his cricket whites in an on pitch pose, will be unveiled at Tussauds in April this year.
So far only filmstars and politicians have been found a place at the world popular wax museum which includes celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Sharukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Indira Gandhi etc.
Sachin would be the first Indian sportsman to feature in the museum which has world sporting legends like Tiger woods, David Beckham, cricketers Brian Lara, Shane Warne etc.--MP
Nagma keen to campaign for Cong

Film Actress Nagma too is following the likes of many Bollywood stars and cricketers, to join politics on Congress ticket.
The sensational actress who has acted in many South Indian films and Hindi films is also known for her stint with Bhojpuri films which is quite popular in states like Uttar Pradesh and Maharastra.
Nagma has expressed her desire to contest the forthcoming polls for Congress from either Allahabad or Moradabad constituencies or from the North Western Mumbai.
However the actress controversial connections to underworld leader Dawood is learnt to have the Congress concerned over her links with the party.
