Mumbai slum stars at the Oscars

The little kids from the Mumbai slums too are attending the Oscars.

This rare privilege has come to the little stars  9 year old Rubina Ali, and 10 year old Azharuddin Ismail who have become popular after their performances in Slumdog Millionaire which has bagged 10 nominations at the Oscars.

The two had portrayed the childhood versions of the characters Latika and Salim in the film.

Boosted with the film's success the two of these slum kids were given a chance by the film director and producer to attend the Oscars function at the star studded ceremony in Los Angels on Feb22nd.
