Boyle plans another film on Mumbai

Backed by the success of his recent film, Slumdog Millionaire told on the backdrop of Mumbai, the British director Danny Boyle is inspired to take another film on the much happening city.

Revealing his plans to take another film on Mumbai said to be a dark thriller, the director said: "For me, the star of the film is not the actors, the script or the direction. For me the real star of this film is Mumbai."

 The filmmaker who is inspired by realistic themes tells the story of a Mumbai slumdweller and his journey from rags to riches through the film Slumdog Millionaire which has bagged 10 Oscar nominations.
