Deshmukh on his way out
Tuesday 2 December 2008
Following the deadly 26/11 Mumbai attacks, Maharastra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh has come under heavy criticism, especially on the way he has handled the whole episode.
The Congress government headed by Deshmukh has witnessed as many as five terror related attacks over the past 3 years. Meanwhile Deshmukh has offered his willingness to resign though Congress is yet to decide on as to be the new sucessor for the post. It is learnt that Power minister Sushil Schinde or Minister of State Priviraj Chavan are the most probable ones considered for the replacement.--MP
