Cable TV rates go up
Monday 29 December 2008
Here is some bad news for TV viewers across the country. Cable TV services are hiking their charges from Jan 1st, 2009 following TRAI's move to allow 7 percent increased rates.
This would mean customers would end up paying more based on the channels they opt to recieve. Cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai could get a hike of upto Rs 171 for 20 pay channels and 30 free to air channels. --MP
