Striking docs face axe

The striking resident doctors and interns in Maharashtra are in trouble with one of the government medical college taking stern against the agitating students.The agitation has been on for the past few days in protest to reduced number of seats for PG courses in the various govt colleges in the State. Lately Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC) has terminated the services of 92 doctors who are on strike. College authorities has even cancelled the registration of the doctors and asked them to vacate their hostel rooms immediately. --MP
