Gopinath Munde resigns
Sunday, 20 April, 2008
Senior BJP leader and party's general secretary Gopinath Munde on Sunday resigned from his posts. "I have resigned from all posts of the party. There is lack of democracy in the party. I would like to works as an ordinary party worker", informed Mude. The move is seen as an after effect of the party's appointment of Madhu Chavan as the new BJP President of Mumbai unit. Munde had sent his resignation to BJP chief Rajnath Singh on his decision to quit from the post. However BJP leadership refused to accept his resignation and is trying to convince the leader to come in terms on the issue. --MP
