Angry Jaya stages walk out
Thursday, 17 April, 2008
After being refused permission to raise the issue of anti-north Indians campaign in Maharashtra, Samajwadi party MP Jaya Bachchan staged a walk out from Rajya Sabha.
The walkout came as Shiv Sena MP Manohar Joshi remarked that there was no new anti-migrant drive in Maharastra to which Jaya wanted to respond. But the speaker did not allow any further discussions on the issue. This angered Jaya who immediately walked out from the House along with party MPs. --MP
