IB Diplomas & IGCSE Schools in Maharashtra

I would like to know whether after passing out with an IGCSE certificate, whether it is possible to get admission in any college in Maharashtra.
Additionally, has anyone with an IB Diploma has been admitted in any recognized Indian University. So, many IB schools are opening in India & especially in Maharashtra. What happens to the child if the parents cannot send them aboard for higher education after IGCSE or IB Diploma.

if yes, then on what basis is the admission done? The results for the IGCSE course comes in July end i.e nealy in august so what about that? are the children allowed to attend college because the 1st semister exams start in the beginning of August.
And I would even like to know that what is the scope in Mumbai after A and AS levels of IGCSE.

Admissions open for IB & 'A' levels IGCSE.

We live in Dubai.

My son is currently doing is o levels which is grade XI. if we were to move back to india, we live in mumbai, please advise as to how he could continue his studies. Can he directly take admission in college or does he compulsory have to finish his XIIth grade and then go to college. if it is compulsory for him to finish his 12th Grade and then go to college, can you please advice as to where he could take admission for grade 12 in mumbai. which school or college.

i would sincerely require your advice as early as possible.

I am looking for answers to all the questions listed above. Can any one please tell me how IGCSE course recognised in Mumbai. If we cannot send our child abroad for studies, then will a college in Mumbai give admission to the child and if yes from which grade/year.

Your child can get admitted to the XI grade in Mumbai; after completion on the IGCSE. Options will be as per the subject choices,grades . i am doing my 10th IGCSE boards in may,i would like to know what is the procedure for admission into junior college as i would like to come back to the maharashtra board..........
is it that we have to submit our preliminary marks or we have to wait till the results of our boards are out cause by the time our board resukts will be out, 1st ter in college will have already begun and i will miss alot of my studies........
