Mumbai, June14 (ANI): Bapu Avhad a mentally unstable man, who got separated from his family in 1992 at the age of 18, reunited with his loved ones after 15 years. After 15 years, Avhad family had lost all hope of finding Bapu. But an unexpected call from a relative in Allahabad helped reuniting Bapu with his family."One of our relative went to Allahabad to look for his brother. He couldn't find his own brother but he found Bapu instead. He read his name, my name and our address on his hand and realised that he was our Bapu," said Pandurang Avhad, Bapu Avhad's father. Bapu's mother, Bababai, was very happy that her son could recognise her and his family and was in a better mental state than he was 15 years back."He is not eating anything for the last two days, only one chapatti in a day, that's all he eats. No one was there to feed him in Allahabad. When he was here he used to be fit because I was looking after him," said Bababai. For the last 15 years Bapu was just wondering around in Allahabad doing small chores for people in lieu of food and slept on streets. Pandurang said that Bapu got into an Allahabad bound train 15 years back and couldn't find his way back home because he was mentally unstable.Pandurang Avhad, recalls the day when Bapu went out with his friends and never returned. Since then he has been looking for his son. (ANI)
